Contour Announces March Radness Video Contest

(Seattle, Wash.) Contour, a market leader in hands-free video cameras, is announcing its first bracket challenge video contest:  “March Radness.”  March Radness pits 16 snowboard videos against 16 ski videos in a winner-take-all competition with the ultimate victor scoring an all expenses paid trip to film with Standard Films or Poor Boyz productions.

How It Works:
Participants have seven weeks to enter their best 90 second video story segment at  At the end of the seven weeks, the best 16 ski stories will be selected to face off against the 16 best snowboard stories.  Each bracket round lasts 24 hours and the video with the most votes moves on to the next round. You the viewer determine if a skier or a snowboarder made the best video!  If the ultimate winner is a skier they will get a chance to ride and film with Poor Boyz Productions.  If the ultimate winner is a snowboarder they will get a chance to hang and shoot with Standard Films.  

Enter between February 1 and March 18, 2011.  The final 32 videos will be announced on March 21, when the bracket rounds begin.


Contour has partnered with several industry-leading brands to create the most ultimate prize package for a single video contest: 
  • Final four each receive the ContourGPS and Connect View card, enabling your ContourGPS to connect to your iphone.
  • The winning snowboard video receives a gear package from Billabong and a free subscription to Transworld Snowboard.
  • The winning ski video receives a full gear package from Oakley and a free subscrption to Freeskier Magazine.
  • The Grand Prize winner will receive an all expenses paid trip (ticket provided by Alaska Airlines) to film with Standard Films or Poor Boyz Productions.
